Font Notes:
Described in Nieto Taberné (1994) and (2001) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period, decorated with ribbed pattern on the sides and a rope moulding at the upper rim; very crude workmanship; NT (ibid.) mentions cognates at Albendea, Bonilla and Hontecillas. Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Cuenca (2009), which notes some similarity with the fonts from Gascas [de Alarcon, now in Olmedilla de Alarcon], Albendea and Villagarcia del Llano. The Enciclopedia... (ibid.) dates the font to the 13th century.
