Described and illustrated in Nieto Taberné (1994) as a Romanesque baptismal font with border and ribs which resemble arches, otherwise plain. The Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Cuenca (2009) reports and illustrates a Romanesque baptismal font in this 16th-17th century church; it consists of a round tapering basin decorated with a flat moulding at the rim, and a ribbed pattern all around; raised on plain cylindrical pedestal base. Noted in the Enciclopedia… (ibid.) as one in a group of somewhat similar fonts at Castejón de Cuenca, Almodóvar del Pinar, Culebras and Casas de Santa Cruz.
[NB: the baptismal register of this church is said to be one of the first in Spain, started ca. 1488]
