On-site notes: we were informed locally that a former holy-water stoup ["pica beneitera"] was being used for baptisms but, upon inspection, we found a large cauldron-like plain basin with a short chamfer and a tiny pedestal base. An unlikely stoup anywhere, but especially in this valley where the stoups tend to be tall but very small in volume. The font is totally plain and the chisel/adze work rather coarse. The only ornamentation visible are several crosses on the upper rim; these may be original or later incisions.
