Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ) as a Romanesque holy-water stoup of the 13th century; the cylindrical basin has an elegant vine motif covering the sides; below it, a rope moulding under which the stone has been cut in a chamfer to meet the base. On-site notes: the basin is a typical work of the Aran Romanesque; the base, probably redone later, is square but recut in a round pattern at the top to meet the underbowl [NB: the basin appeared unmounted in the illustration in Catalunya romànica of ca. 1984, but it was mounted as shown in our photograph in June 1999]. Listed in Mestre i Godes (1999). Noted in Amiell (2007).
