Font originally from Santa Maria de Hito, now [1999+ ] standing, among other fonts 'recovered' from abandoned villages of the area, in the cloister at San Martin de Elines. On-site notes: the font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a pair of bands of saw-tooth pattern between three rope mouldings, a design popular in the Valderredible medieval fonts; raised on a short cylindrical pedestal base, all plain. No cover present.
