The font of this church was illustrated in an engraving in Mañé i Flaquer (1876-1880). Described and illustrated in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- ) and in Domeño (1992): octagonal baptismal font of the 15th century in Late-Gothic style ; the basin is octagonal with tapering sides that are ornamented with blind shields and medallions; a moulding divides basin sides from underbowl; the underbowl being a plain chamfer; the stem of the base is octagonal and plain, as is the lower base; the font stands on two plain octagonal plinths. The font appears now much damaged, especially the upper rim [another sharpening stone for the sabres of Napoleon's hussars?]; the sides also may have been altered. This is the font in which St. Francis Xavier was baptised, as atested in a much stylised painting reproduced in López de Aberasturi & Pérez Simón (2007) [NB: unfortunately the source does not give particulars of the original painting]
