On-site notes: evidence of paint on the basin. The upper register of the basin sides has seven circles around the bowl. There is evidence of hinges (one remains in rim) indicating a lid. The basin is now mounted on what appears to be the remnants of an old circular plinth. The origin of this font is unknown / not recorded.
