Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , v. I:256) as a holy-water stoup from the 12th or 13th century, of unknown origin; it is monolithic, except for the small square lower base, and made of limestone; the small basin is hemispheric with extended vertical sides which are ornamented with an acanthus vine all around; the underbowl is ornamented with diagonal ribbed pattern; the upper rim side has a roll moulding; the basin interior has a tetrafoil shape, the sides quite slanted rather than vertical; the stem of the base has a chevron motif as the upper hald has diagonal pattern in one direction, while the lower half goes in the opposite direction. This same source gives the stoups at Saint Savin and at Santa Eulalia de Unha as typologically cognate. Acquired by the Museum 18 October 1932 as part of the "Col.lecció Plandiura".
