Listed as a Romanesque baptismal font in Santamaria (1988). On-site examination revealed the base is ornamented with circular motifs in which either a Maltese cross or four-petaled flower is inscribed; this band encircles the base; thirteen small faces in the spandrels of large ribs around the bowl; the faces are both male and female; a wide border of an acanthus vine encircles the top of the bowl; the inner well is carved with a concave rib pattern; metal staples evident in the rim. The font is in the Romanesque style of Castillian design, but the presence of the angel throws the date forward [unless it is a later addition, though it appears to be part of the original block].
