Church Notes: The 12thC(?) church of Sant Cristofol has also another font, one of the so-called "oil fonts" (because they were used to store lamp oil for the church, though believed to have been early versions of the baptismal fonts in several areas around the Pyrenees). The church contains a magnificent Romanesque Christ with the original paint still on and believed to have originated at the Bestraca cenobium.

Described in Buron (1980: 184) as a Romanesque baptismal font probably from a Benedictine monastery; large round cauldron-shaped font ornamented with two bands of rope motif, one, wider, just under the rim, and a thinner one about 4/5 down the side [the thread of the rope mouldings goes in opposite directions in the two mouldings]. The font is located under the stairs that lead up to the choir. Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. IV: 146). Described in Mestre i Godes (1999, v. 2: 117). The entry for this church in the Inventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic de Catalunya [https://invarquit.cultura.gencat.cat/card/91] [accessed 2 January 2024] reports an immersion baptismal font of the Romanesque period with a diameter of 120 cm ["La pica baptismal d'immersió, és d'època romànica i es conserva a l'interior del temple. Està decorada per dos acordonaments horitzontals, les direccions dels quals són oposades. Mesura 120 cm de diàmetre. Segons Ramon Vinyeta "es pot considerar un dels exemples més rellevants d'aquest estil a les comarques pirinenques"]. The font is mentioned in Solà Colomer (2005) as being somewaht similar to those at Joanette and Puigpardines.
