Described in Buron (1980: 174): a Romanesque font from the 11th century esglèsia parroquial de Sant Martí; the old church has now disappeared but the font is housed in the new church of the same name and advocation. Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. VII: 297, 413): the irregular basin is roughly cylindrical with rounded sides; a large Latin cross in high-relief on the front side is the only ornamentation; the pedestal base is also cylindrical and totally plain. This source dates the font to the Romanesque period in general. The font is covered with a plain modern lid hinged in the middle.
