Font Notes:
Durliat calls the style of the baptismal font of Cazau archaistic and does not think that either the font or the stoup can belong to the Romanesque period: "ce travail barbare ne paraît pas pouvoir remonter à l'époque romane". The basin has flat relief carvings showing a six-point star, two fish facing each-other, a fleur-de-lis; there is also an Agnus Dei, a pair of peacocks drinking from a single vessel, and several humans and animals engaged in enigmatic scenes. The base has human heads typical of other Pyrenees fonts (Durliat, 1978, p.206)
