Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ): cup-shaped holy-water stoup wall-mounted on the inside wall of the bell-tower; its side is ornamented with a stylised foliage motif; it is described as crude, the work of a local artisan, and therefore perhaps not as old as it appears at first sight. The same source indicates that, although the ornamentation seems to match that of the baptismal font in the same church, it is not believed to be by the same hand on account of the much lesser skill of the carver of the stoup, "un example clar de l'arcaisme i de la tosquedat que caracteriza l'escultura de la Vall d'Aran [...] obra d'un artesà casolà" [=a clear example of the archaic and crude style that characterises the sculpture in the Aran Valley [...] the work of a local artisan"]. Noted in Amioell (2007). The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del romanico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/el-romanico/imagenes-romanico/restos-iglesia-romanica-muro-norte-sant-roc-begos] [accessed 16 February 2022]
