Listed in Buron (1980: 113) as a Romanesque baptismal font in the church of St Pere; Sagarras Altas/Segarres Altes is a hamlet in the municipality of Lascuarre/Lasquarri, with a church alternatively dedicated to St. Lucia or St. Peter. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with three torus-scotia parallel sets and a pattern of somewhat angled ribs below, on a square pedestal base that may not be the original, itself decorated with torsade pattern; a square lower base or plinth is mostly buried in the ground. Although Burdon lists it as Romanesque it looks rather a late-medieval design. No cover present.
