Church Notes: The old "ermita", La Antigua, still remains.
In the church's inventory of 1540 there is an entry for the old font: "Ytem la pila es de piedra sana y buena con su tapado y su llave" [=Item the font is of good stone and in good condition and has a locked cover]. Illustrated in Jaka Legorburu (1996). Baptismal font consisting of a round tapering basin resembling two volumes; there are signs of damage and repair to the upper rim, and no cover present or old hardware visible on it; raised on a plain roughly cylindrical pedestal base with a plain circular lower base; the base could very well be a later replacement.
