On-site notes: the basin of the baptismal font is plain except for a single groove encircling the centre of the basin; tall chamfer, also plain, as is the cylindrical stem of the base. Ugly, flat, wooden lid hinged at the back. [NB: several other sources (Inventari d'esglésies (v.2, p. 200, V. Ar. 4), Catalunya romànica (1984- , v. xiii:448-449) make reference to a different "pica baptismal" at Santa Eularia: a typical Aran marble vessel with a small cylindrical basin ornamented with a vine all around; the round pedestal base has diagonal fluting ornamentation and there is a square plinth under it; that object is entered in this Index as a holy-water stoup, "Arros No. 2"]. "Romanesque baptism font preserved inside [the Gothic church] from the XII century" (ACTUR, 1999, p.5).
