One of several Romanesque stone fonts in the Aran valley made from a local dark-grey marble; the cylindrical basin sides are adorned with a vine motif; the underbowl is plain; the round base has three motifs: the first is made of concentric circles; the other two with romboid or triangular shapes, separated all by vertical rope mouldings; the lower part of the base is buried under the raised flooring, as with several other fonts in this valley. Described and illustrated in Lallov (1934), Gavín (1977) and in Catalunya romànica (1984- ). Bilbao (1996) mentions a garland or vine as ornamentation. Ditto in Amiell (2007).
