Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ): one of several fonts in this valley that consists of a round, bucket-shaped basin with a chamferred lower side and raised on a round-pedestal base; there are two Maltese crosses which this same source suggests may have been carved at a later date. Described as a "baptism bowl for immersion" (ACTUR web site, 1999:.3). Noted in Amiell (2007). The font consists of a round basin with tapering sides, decorated with two Maltese crosses at opposite ends; the lower end of the basin has a narrow chamfer all around, not really an underbowl; the round pedestal base is rather irregular, the lower end perhaps a moulding originally, but much eroded now; the circular plinth is now level with the raised flooring. No cover present, but there are two metal staples at opposite ends in the upper rim of the basin.
