A Romanesque holy-water stoup probably of the 12th-13th century; it has a small cylindrical basin which is ornamented with vegetal and tape motif, like a vine, a pattern common in this valley; the tall pedestal base has a row of ball motif near the upper end. Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , v. XIII: 381-382, where the presence of the fleur-de-lis is pointed out as a common motif in Aranese fonts (e.g.: Gausac, Escunhau) and in other sculpture of the valley; as with several other fonts and stoups in this valley, the source dates this to the second half of the 12th or early 13th century, despite its archaic design, especially with the presence of the fleur-de-lis. [NB: some of the motifs in the waves of the vine can be read as inscribed Greek crosses or 8-petal rosettes, a common Romanesque trompe-l'oeil)]
