Described in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] [accessed 16 July 2022] as a Romanesque baptismal font ax-carved on limestone, and located at the west end of the nave, beneath the gallery; the basin is roughly hemispherical with a pattern of broad ribs between parallel rope mouldings above and below; the round squat base is badly damaged [="A los pies del edificio, bajo el coro, conserva la iglesia un buen ejemplar de pila bautismal románica, labrada a hacha en un bloque de caliza. Muestra copa semiesférica decorada con abultados gallones entre junquillos sogueados, de 117 cm de diámetro en la embocadura (133 cm en sección por los gallones) por 76 cm de altura, sobre un maltrecho tenante a modo de basa, que se eleva 34 cm de altura"]. Listed in Garma Ramírez as "reseñable" [=worthy of note] without further details (Garma Ramirez, 1998, p. 29). Basin side decorated with with large ribs (Santamaria, 1988, p. 192).
