Listed by Garma Ramírez (1998) as "reseñable" [=worthy of note] without further details. Decorated with large ribs (Santamaria, 1988). The inside of the basin has large shelled out grooves, which could be best described as a concave ribbed pattern, already indicative of a Transitional or Gothic date. Some cementing has been done inside to prevent the water from seeping into the stone. The base is ornamented with foilage motifs and vines, a theme similar to that found on this church capitals. Very large ribs adorn the exterior of the basin. The font stands on the original plinth. A metal rim encircles the outer edge of the top rim to keep the stone from crumbling. No cover present but there are several metal staples that must have been anchorings for an earlier cover.
