Garcia Guinea (1979) has an illustration that shows a plain chalice-shaped font, the basin shaped like a cauldron; the base appears to have a large ring or torus towards the bottom third (Garcia Guinea, 1979, p. 576). Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del romanico... [www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/cantabria_RENEDO_DE_BRICIA.pdf] [accessed 6 January 2021]: "la pila bautismal [...] aunque excesivamente limpia, tiene todas las formas y características de las románicas. Es semiesférica, con un bocel en los bajos, y soporte cilíndrico. No lleva decoración y mide 82 cm de diámetro; 40 el alto de la cuba, y 45 del pie. La anchura del borde es de 9 cm." There is a roll moulding at the bottom of the underbowl, otherwise the font is plain. No cover present.
