Described in Garcia Guinea (1979): the basin has large ribs resembling an arcade, with half-ball motif at the bottom; it has a cylindrical base and is raised on a square plinth. If GG's dating is right the font must have belonged to an earlier church here. Oscar M. Ruiz Pérez, in Cantabria Románica [www.cantabriaromanica.com] notes: "magnífica pila bautismal de la Iglesia de Cubillo de Ebro, del siglo XII, lo único románico que le queda a esta Iglesia".
