Noted in Garcia Guinea (1979): the basin is adorned with large ribs resembling an arcade; cylindrical base and plinth with torus. Baptismal font of stone consisting a a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a cylindrical pedestal base and a quadrangular lower base; the term 'rough' can well be applied to the whole font, as it is unbalanced in its proportions and crudely executed; the design of the ribbed pattern, concave ribbing with inserts in the bottom of the flutes is a later pattern and its combination with the upper rim shape points to a later paeriod than the 13th-century date of the church; was it done locally in the 16th century? was it re-carved? No cover present but the upper rom has evidence of anchorings for an old cover.
