Described, illustrated and studied in Bilbao (various, chiefly 1995,1996). Bilbao (1996) notes the presence on this font of a scene of baptism of adults, which, Bilbao states, appears only on one other Castillian font, the one at nearby Osornillo [cf. Index entry]. Described and illustrated in García Guinea (1998). Baptismal font consisting of an irregular bucket-shaped basin with interesting decoration: a man, naked but for a short piece of linen waits, with arms crossed at chest level, by the side of a large baptismal font; inside that font another man is being baptised by a tonsured priest carrying a book in his hand; another figure covered in a mantle stands by with a book in his hand; a fleurdelisée cross, a large flower and an inverted crescent Moon appear on the sides as well. The base is decorated with beaded-tape and zig-zag motifs. Noted in Martín Jiménez (2008).
