Described in Lojendio and Rodríguez (1985); in García Guinea (1990). Described and illustrated in Bilbao (1996) and García Guinea (1998), who suggests a late-12th century date: bucket-shaped baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the basin bears three bands of ornamentation: the first (upper) has stylised floral motifs, Greek crosses and a crescent moon, all of them encircled; the middle band is a festoon of intersecting arches; the lower band has an arcade of double arches containing triangle motifs. The upper base is made up of ten constructional columns; the lower base is round and decorated with double arches, balls and flowers. Bilbao (ibid.) cites references to García Guinea and to Lojendio and Rodríguez. Noted in Martín Jiménez (2008) with date suggested late in the 12th century.
