Described in Bilbao (1996) and in García Guinea (1998): baptismal font of the Romanesque period; G-G (ibid.) dates it to the late 12th or 13th century; the upper basin side is ornamented with an unfinished band of pearl motif with flowers and fruits; square lower base. Noted in Martín Jiménez (2008). The unfinished band on interlace is obvious in same areas of the upper basin side, as the interlace has been roughed in, but the details not finished; in other areas, however, the correspondig parts are blank; the usual explanation is that the side without any decoration was meant to go against the wall and therefore left blank; as to the roughed-in but unfinished sections... did the church run out of money? did the artisan abandoned the job? No cover present but two of the metal staples fom an old cover are still in the upper rim/
