Described in Bilbao (1996). The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 12 June 2021] notes: "Tiene su iglesia dedicada a la Asunción de Nuestra Señora y es gótica [...] The tub-shaped basin stands on a three-step plinth, the lower part of which is partly buried in the flooring; there is an area of later repair to the upper rim. No cover present. Noted and illlustrated in Valle Barreda (2009). Baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the otherwise plain bucket-shaped basin has a rope moulding at the upper rim; on a wider round base; two-step plinth. At least one of the old cover metal staples is still in the upper rim.
