Described and illustrated in Carlsson (1976: 75 and pl. 58) as one of two fonts [the other is the stoup at Dinan - cf. Index entry for Dinan No. 1] in which "men who turn their back towards the spectator and lift the bowl with their arms and hands in this way forming a cradle". On-site notes: hemispherical basin ornamented with acanthus tendrils, also found on the sides of the triangular plinth together with three small animal heads; the base consists of a round shaft ornamented with fluting, as well as three human figures, the front of their bodies against the basin, their arms extended although the fingers do not touch; their faces turned outward in an anatomically impossible neck-breaking twist
