Octagonal mounted font probably from the restoration of this church in 1900; the panels of the basin sides include standing figures and one baptism scene depicting a Bishop with a child in a font; there are two wooden covers on this font: one, raised above by a pulley system, is finely carved and may be earlier than the font itself; the second cover is a flat lid, wooden and with a ring handle, that fits onto the upper rim of the basin [cf. Index entry for Langtoft No. 1 for the Norman font originally from Cottam, and the entry for Langtoft No. 2, perhaps another Norman font]
