Described in Bilbao (1996) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 3 June 2021] notes: "iglesia dedicada a San Félix [...] The basin is ribbed inside and out; it has a narrow band with nail-head motif ornamentation, imitating a wooden construction; short, round upper base; the lower base has spheric ornamentation at the angles: two or three of them resembling owl-heads at its corners, the fourth a ball with cross decoration on it. Although included in the above sources as Romanesque the design of the font falls closer into the Gothic style
