Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Norman period. In Pevsner (1926): "Font. Of very primitive shape and entirely undecorated; early Norman?" The font consists of an oblong-shaped tapering tub with rounded corners, the inside well rectangular and lead-lined [the lining is modern]; raised on a columnar base.
