Illustrated in Suckling (1846-1848) with an engraving by Orlando Jewitt [NB: the name of the town is spelled 'Blythford' in Suckling]. Described and illustrated in Parker (1855), also with Jewitt's drawing. Described in Cox & Harvey (1907) as an Early English font with an octagonal bowl on plain semi-detached shafts at the angles [cf. Index entry for Blyford No. 2 for a holy-water stoup of the Norman period in the same church]
