There is an entry for Radcliffe [-on-Soar] [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SK4928/ratcliffe-on-soar/] [accessed 20 May 2016]; i mentions a priest and a church in it. Cox & Harvey (1907) and Guilford (1927) list a baptismal font of the Decorated period here. Cox & Harvey (ibid.) note also a Restoration font cover dated to the 1660s. Cox (1912) notes that the font is 14th-century but the [lower] base is modern, and dates the flat cover to the 1660s. Ditto Pevsner & Williamson (1979). The Southwell & Nottingham Church History Project [http://southwellchurches.nottingham.ac.uk/ratcliffe-on-soar/hfitting.php#fonts] [accessed 20 May 2016) notes: "The present day stone church was probably started late in the 12th Century replacing a previous wooden church dedicated to St Mary. A survey conducted in 1994 indicates that the Chancel dates from around 1160. [...] The church has two fonts, one is modern; a gift from Kingston on Soar in 1936 [cf. Index entry for Kingston-on-Soar], but the other is contemporary with the building and shows marks of hinges and latches securing the original wooden cover." The gift font is Victorian. The original basin is octagonal with a 'lip' moulding at the upper rim and a groove at the lower end as all decoration; the base is a rough cublic block. The wooden cover is octagonal and flat, with a knob handle/finial.
