There is an entry for Sibbertod [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SP6882/sibbertoft/] [accessed 20 March 2019]; it mentions a priest in it, but not a church, though there must have been there. Cox & Harvey (1907) list a baptismal font of the Decorated period here. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SP6814682768], however, notes: "Church. C13 and C14. South aisle and porch added and church restored c.1862-63 [...] Font C19 with marble pillars."
