There are two entries for this Wilsford in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TF0043/wilsford/] [accessed 16 February 2025] one of which, in the lordship of Godfrey of Cambrai in 1086, reports "1 church. 0.25 church lands" in it. Lewis' Dictionary of 1848 remarks: "the font, which is octagonal, with concave sides, is of later date" [i.e., later than the Decorated period]. Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period. Noted in Pevsner, Harris and Antram (1989): "A concave-sided octagon; Perp[endicular]. Quatrefoils on the stem, pointed quatrefoils with flowers on the bowl."
