There are seven entries for Evedon in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TF0947/evedon/] [accessed 15 February 2025], one of which, in the lordship of Kolgrim (of Grantham), reports a church in it. Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period. Noted in Pevsner, Harris and Antram (1989): "Font. Octagonal, Perp[endicular], with shields in cusped fields." The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TF0928347594] reports: "Parish church. C13, C14, C15, C16, aisle demolished 1809, restored 1898 [...] C14 octagonal font richly carved with cusped blank tracery to the sides and stem, armorial shields and the initials AR."
