Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Norman period. Noted in Pevsner (1978): "Font. Plain Norman." The font is tub-shaped, almost cylindrical, decorated with a band of scallop motif around the upper basin side and a rope moulding towards the bottom of the basin; the flat wooden cover is moder; the font is raised on a round plinth. A row of triangular elements and a roll moulding decorate the top of the basin, whilst the bottom is carved with a cable moulding."
