Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period. Described in Cox (1912): "small octagonal 15th cent, font, with metal 17th cent, tap driven into W. side to serve as a drain; the lead lining is marked '1672, W. M., W. T.'" The octagonal basin has floral motifs inscribed in large quatrefoils of the sides, a moulded basin and lower base, and a plain octagonal stem. Raised on a square plinth.
