No individual entry found for Coveney or Manea in the Domesday survey. Cox & Harvey (1907) report a baptismal font of the Decorated period here. The Victoria County History (Cambridge and the Isle of Ely, vol. 4, 2002): "The church [...] nave and chancel belong to the first half of the 13th century [...] The plain north doorway is 13thcentury work [...] The font has a plain octagonal bowl and is probably of the 14th century." [NB: the Church of St. Nicholas, in Manea proper, is reported in the same VCH entry [cf. supra] may date to the 17th century or earlier, but we have no information of a baptismal font in that church -- the present building dates from 1875].
