Described in Bilbao (1996) and in García Guinea (1998). Described and illustrated in Sancho Campo (2002) as a monolithic [includes the lower base] Romanesque font of the 13th century. The upper side of the basin has an arcade with double arches all around; the lower side of the basin is ornamented with vertical mouldings; crude circular lower base. [NB: according to García Guinea (ibid.) and Sancho Campo (ibid.) the font is originally from Villanueva de Pisuerga, a village later covered by the waters of the Aguilar de Campoo dam -- the font is now [2002] in the Museo Diocesano de Palencia]. Noted and illustrated in Martín Jiménez (2008).
