Peter Lord, in Diwylliant... (1998-2003) suggests that this font and the one at Llangeinwen may have been produced by the same workshop. Thurlby (2006) relates one of the patterns on the font at Llangwyllog to those on the fonts at Llantrisant, Llangeinwen and Llanidan. Crude and heavy wooden font cover consisting of a falt and round platform with four vertical solid ribs topped with a Latin-cross finial.
