Described and illustrated in Pike (989: 48-49): "The octagonal, Medieval font in the Church of St. Mogue, Timogue, may have come from the ancient Friary" [i.e., a Franciscan Friary founded by O'More Noughaval in 1447 and disbanded in 1563, in Stradbally]. "It has panels of irregular size [...]. The font is limestone and in use; the drain is at one side with the outlet in the Head of Christ, sculpted on one side of the bowl in high relief. The reconstructed pedestal and base are octagonal."
