A font illustrated in a set of digital photographs taken 16 October 2024 by A,-K. D. and posted in Wikipedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Baptismal_font_in_St_Mary's_Church,_Inistioge] [accessed 26 July 2025] show a rathe unappealing font in the chancel of St Mary's (C. of I.) church in Inistioge, consisting of a newish-looking octagonal basin with chanfered plain sides, raised on an octagonal pedestal base of a much more weathered texture; the captions suggest that the base may belong to the basin built into the Columbkille's well [cf. BSI entry for Inistiogue No. 4]: "Baptismal font in St Mary's Church in Inistioge. The top seems quite modern and is made of limestone whereas the bottom part could be quite ancient and might have come from an earlier font, maybe even the one built into the wall at Columbkille's Well."
