Described and illustrated in Pike (1989: 53): "The font in this Church [i.e., the Estate Church for the Trench family in Woodlawn] is not in use. The central drain has a cover and is incorporated into a small hemispherical bowl attached in the centre of the hemispherical internal bowl of the octagonal font. The font is tripartite, with reconstructed octagonal plinth and pedestal. A band of relief decoration runs one inch below the rim of the bowl and ten inches in depth. The font may be sandstone. This font is individual and does not bear resemblance to other fonts discussed".
