Described and illustrated in Pike (1989: 32): "This font may have come from an old ruined Medieval Church nearby. It is of limestone and has a central drain. The bowl is square externally and is bevelled and grooved. The bowl [i.e., the inner basin well] is slightly bucket-shaped with a square pedestal and base.
