Described in Bilbao (1996) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period. It consists of a large roughly hemispherical basin raised on a squat round base; the upper side of the basin has tapered pattern all around, with a zig-zag pattern above it that may actually mean to represent a rope motif; the sides and underbowl are decorated with a tall blind arcade of round arches on columns with capitals and bases; there are two metal staples from an old cover hardware still in the upper rim; the larger one has split and broken off a large chunk of the upper rim, as they tend to do when the metal expands with the cold and damages the stone.
