The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 6 April 2023] notes: "La pila es románica con bordes de rosetas y gallones, pie cónico y base circular". The large basin has twelve very broad and prominent ribs in the upper interstices of which are placed eleven human heads and one snail; on splaying dodecagonal (?) pedestal base; plain and perhaps of a later date. On-site notes: iron staples from the old cover still evident in the upper basin rim; no font cover present.
