Described in Bilbao (1996: 294 et al.) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period with a hexagonal basin. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 6 April 2023] notes: "La pila es románica, buena, avernerada, con seis gallones, interior y exteriormente, con pie lobulado y base circular." On-site notes: the font is actually poly-lobed, with six lobes, rather than hexagonal; the lobes of the rim become very large ribs, all six of them, separated by the vertical mouldings; the base is also poly-lobed, again with six lobes; an iron staple from the old cover locking system is still evident in the rim; it has a massive lead plug! [NB: this shape of font is usually ascribed to the Gothic, rather than the Romanesque period; it is probably the reason why it is not included in the Enciclopedia del romanico].
