Described in Bilbao (1996). Noted and illustrated in Valle Barreda (2009). The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 5 April 2023] notes: "La pila es románica con sogueado en borde, arquitos leves, pie torneado con moldura y base cuadrada". Baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the bucket-shaped basin is decorated with a thin rope-moulding at the upper rim, and a band of intersecting round arch-heads below, with the rest of the sides plain; the base is round-to-square, with mouldings and scotia at the upper end; part of the base, if not all, is of a later date than the rest. No cover present.
